In my previous days when I used to power on my laptop then one horrible message was coming “You may be a victim of software counterfeiting.” When I saw this message then I was thinking “What is this? & how it came? “.
After searching lots of thing I got my answer and answer is :” You do not have a genuine copy of Windows XP installed” means you are not using original copy of Windows XP. Now another question raises “How to remove this notification from pc permanently?” and simple the answer is format your pc.
But my friend this is totally wrong answer : ).
Be patience I shall tell you the way to completely remove this notification. Before going to tell about the way I would like to suggest user to follow same steps what I am going to tell you.
Ok friend here is your answer:
• Open your run window(Window “key between left hand side Ctrl and Alt” + R or go to start menu and click on run icon)
• Write “regedit.exe” on run window (only write regedit.exe don’t use “” symbol) and click ok.
• After click ok we will get “Registry Editor” window and here you can see that window has been divided into two parts (Don’t do anything with right hand side part. We have to work with left hand side part).
• On left hand side you will get “My computer” option just double click on it or click on “+” symbol which is present before “My computer” option.
• After that five folders will come (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, HKEY_CURRENT_USER, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, HKEY_USERS, HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG).
• Double Click on “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE” folder
• After that you will get a folder among lots of folder named as “SOFTWARE” just double clicks on it.
• After that you will get a folder among lots of folder named as “Microsoft” just double clicks on it.
• After that you will get a folder among lots of folder named as “Windows NT” just double clicks on it.
• After that you will get a folder named as “Notify” just delete it permanently (Shift + Delete).
• Restart your computer.
Friend I think you will get your answer and I am sure that it will help you, then for whome you are waiting for ? Go for it and enjoy the solution if you are facing this problem. I know that there is lots of other techniques are there but in my point of view it is a best one. So enjoyeee…. : )
